Project 7: objects in different positions in the frame

For this project I had find a subject that is plain and big, well you can't get anything much plainer and bigger than a 'Superlambanana' can you!!!

The idea behind this exercise is to try different placing of a subject in the frame and say which you prefer.


Centre of frame


Left of frame


Right of frame

I prefer the last photo, even though the 'Superlambanana' is looking out of the frame at the right side I like the way I've managed to catch its' reflection in the left of the frame.

  1. Great subject, hard to choose, but I think I'd go for the first one this time, even though it is the convention framing.

  2. I prefer the left of the frame - the size of the people give it a larger look and the human interaction ( or not as he is using it as a seat ) also tells us something.I also like the balance in this one.
