Photo 1 - sculptor Richard Wilson cut a circle out of a derelict Yates Wine Lodge and fixed it on a giant pivot. It rotates like a huge opening and closing window giving a glimpse of the interior. You can read more about it here.

Photo 3 - sunflowers in St Lukes church in the city centre better known as the bombed church in Liverpool.
"Gutted by German Luftwaffe incendiary bombardment during the May blitz of 1941. To this day, the entire surviving shell stands (purposely) unrepaired as a true city centre 'war memorial'.
